Tahoe Fires

Several people have asked about my Dad in South Lake Tahoe. So far, their house is still ok although the one behind them and across the street are gone as well as many others in their neighborhood. The National Forest at the end of the street is apparently wiped out. They hosed down their house, yard, deck and left water running when they were made to evacuate. My Dad said they heard trees exploding, saw flames jumping from treetop to treetop, the heat was unbearable, and they couldn't see far ahead of them. Thankfully they are ok and the "woodgies" (Rusty and Cooper) are safe with them. Currently staying with friends in the area. Pray for everyone there, those who have lost their homes, and those who have to go back into a shell of a neighborhood.
